Silicone Steamer 6pcs Round Kitchen Dehydrator Mats | Kisasahome Kenya

If you steam mandazi, chapati, vegetables, or anything else in a pot or bamboo steamer, you already know the problem — food sticks to the base and tears apart when you try to remove it, and the mess takes far longer to clean than the cooking itself. These food-grade silicone steamer liner mats sit between the steamer rack and your food, allow full steam circulation through the perforations, and release cleanly without tearing or sticking — every single time.

Also known as: silicone steamer mat, bamboo steamer liner, steamer basket liner, silicone dehydrator mat, reusable steamer pad

• Food-grade silicone, BPA free, safety tested — Made from certified food-grade silicone with no BPA, no harmful coatings, and no chemical transfer to food. Each mat is individually safety tested before packaging.
• High-temperature resistant from -40°C to 280°C — Withstands the full heat range of a steamer pot, oven, microwave, or air fryer without deforming, melting, or releasing any substances into your food.
• Perforated mesh allows even steam circulation — The nano-mesh surface lets steam pass through freely and evenly so food cooks uniformly — no soggy patches or undercooked spots from blocked steam.
• Non-stick surface for clean food release — Steamed buns, dumplings, rice cakes, and sticky dough lift off the mat cleanly without tearing or leaving residue behind.
• 6 mats per set — reusable and easy to rinse — Each mat rinses clean with warm water in seconds. No parchment paper to buy, no banana leaves to source, no replacement liners — these last for years of regular use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will these fit my steamer pot or bamboo steamer?

Each mat is 27cm (10.6 inches) in diameter, which fits most standard steamer pots and bamboo steamers sold in Kenya. If your steamer is smaller, the flexible silicone can be trimmed with scissors to the exact size you need.

Q: Can I use these in an air fryer or oven, not just a steamer?

Yes. These mats are compatible with microwave ovens, conventional ovens, bamboo steamers, steamer pots, and air fryers — anything operating within the -40°C to 280°C temperature range.

Q: How do I clean them after use?

Rinse under warm running water immediately after use, rub gently to remove any food residue, and allow to air dry. They do not require soaking or scrubbing for normal steaming use.
