Fill with hot water — not boiling. Water just off the boil is too aggressive for the valve and can weaken the seal over time. Let boiled water sit for 2 to 3 minutes before filling, or use water from a hot tap at around 60 to 70°C for the safest results.
Q: Is the fur cover washable?
Yes — the faux rabbit fur cover is removable and can be hand-washed in cool water. Remove the bottle before washing and allow the cover to air-dry fully before putting it back on. Do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
Q: Can I use this on children?
Hot water bottles can be used to warm a child’s bed before sleep, but should not be placed directly against a young child’s skin unsupervised. Always wrap the bottle in a towel or cloth for younger children and ensure water temperature is moderate before use.
